The Essex Toy Cave is a vintage and collectable toy store born out of a long term passion of toy collecting, based out of Hills Self Storage, Brook Street, Colchester, CO12UZ

Reflecting on my childhood, I loved the surprise of a FREE gift, be that a happy meal, woolworths lucky bag or magazine gift.
You may recieve a FREE gift in your order and if you keep an eye out on my social media channels or find me at a toy fair, I am often holding competitions!
OUR TOYS
The majority of our stock comes from purchased collections & auction houses, while a mix of my childhood toys!
It is a mix of new, preowned boxed, carded and loose items. Make sure you read the description carefully and grading system before purchasing.
Our stock changes constantly – with new items added weekly. From sealed vintage boxes to loose figures and rare finds, we’re always digging up something new to add to the cave.

WE BUY TOYS
We are always on the hunt for new stock , with a preference for vintage 70s, 80s & 90s carded toys. We do not tend to buy singular toys.
We can provide a valuation for collections (can take up to 7 days) and typically offer between 40-60% of eBay sold value.
This is based on the time and effort it takes to sell and post multi-item collections.
