RETURNS POLICY

Firstly, please ensure you have checked all photos, descriptions and grading before purchasing any item. At the Essex Toy Cave we sell mostly vintage pre-owned toys, some over 50 years old – so paying attention to detail is key for us, and for you when purchasing.

*If you are purchasing an electronic item over 20 years old, please be aware that we cannot guarantee working electronics (with some naturally wearing with age)

If you are not completely satisfied with your order, you can return the items to us in their original condition (and unopened packaging if a Grade A Item) within 14 days of receipt and we can issue a full refund (excluding our delivery charge) or can exchange for a different product we have in stock if preferred.

If there has been an oversight on product condition, or damage has been caused by a courier – there may be an option for a partial refund / exchange for other products without the need for returning.

PROCESS:

1.    Communication is key, please contact us immediately at hello@essextoycave.co.uk or through our contact form with any issue. We will help you solve the issue.

2.     Please give your name, date of purchase, order number and method of purchase i.e. Debit Card, Paypal.

3.    We will then contact you wit a solution and the returns address and details of the return. this can usually take around 24-48 hours (this will not effect your returns time)

4.     We recommend you return the item by Royal Mail only to us at the address provided to you in the email.

5.    We Strongly recommend using Recorded mail and take out insurance as Essex Toy Cave is not responsible for the item while in your care or until it has been received by us.

6.    Please include the returns note in your parcel. 

7.    All returns items must be received by us within 14 Days of receipt of goods.

8.    Once the item is received by us and has been checked over by QC then we issue the refund. (within 5 days of receiving)

9.     Returned items must be undamaged in their original packaging with all labels, tags, barcodes still attached. Important: The original packing must be returned, undamaged and unmarked as many of the items on this site are sold as Vintage pre-owned collectibles and are not intended for play which would effect there value if tampered with. 

 

The Statutory rights of the consumer are not affected by the terms of our service.
